Profile : Practice |
| |
Kennedy FitzGerald & Associates have been providing
architectural services to a wide range of private and public
clients for over forty years. During this period the emphasis
has been on innovative design, the quality of service and the
success of the new building. The current partners have over
twenty years’ experience in the construction industry in
Northern Ireland.
The original Practice was founded in 1960 by Donald Shanks
(former Chief Architect to the Belfast Education Authority)
and the late Edwin Leighton. The Partnership became known as
Kennedy FitzGerald & Associates in October 1983 when Joe
FitzGerald and James Kennedy took over the existing Practice.
Following the retirement of Joe FitzGerald in 1995 and the
death of James Kennedy in 1997, the present Practice now
operates with three partners: Patrick Acheson, William Hanna
and Norman Hutchinson, and three Associates: Keith Major, Ian
McKnight and Graeme Wilson. |
